A seasoned veteran, Yves Edwards made his professional debut in 1997 and has fought all over the world since. He first fought in the UFC at UFC 33 and in 2010 found his way back to the big stage where he won a decision over John Gunderson. A veteran of well over 60 fights, Yves claims the fighting style "Thugjitsu." Edwards is known for his action packed fights as a lightweight in organizations such as the UFC, PRIDE, WEC, Strikeforce, Bellator and EliteXC. During the summer of 2005 Edwards was ranked as high as #2 in the lightweight division. He also holds notable victories over Josh Thomson, Hermes Franca and Rich Clementi.
