Torque was founded in 2012 when Scott James, founder of the largest sports supplement company in the world, took his experiences of building brands and connecting with people from every facet and combined it with MMA superstar Urijah Faber and BMX icon TJ Lavin. Our breakthrough came in the UFC, where Faber’s partnership led to a promotional run like none other. Being able to engage some of MMA’s top athlete’s helped us break down the door and announce our arrival in stride. The Torque family has since grown to include our generation’s most groundbreaking artists, musicians, and athletes – all who helped perpetuate our culture.
