For the second consecutive year the biggest action sports competition and festival will be hosted in Austin, TX. X games competitions include Street Skateboard, Moto X Best Whip, Mountain Biking, BMX Big Air, and many more. Torque is very excited to have Anthony Napolitan competing in BMX Dirt this year. Two-time bronze medalist Napolitan will be looking to continue his strong year of competing against the best in the world. Napo finished first in the Big Air competition in ‘07, and made history when he landed the first ever double front flip during Big Air. BMX Dirt will be highlighted in the prime Saturday broadcast of events on ABC Sports and ESPN 3 during the 2-6pm time slot.
The first year of the X Games in Austin was huge, but this year is stacked with an amazing lineup and events. Metallica will take the stage at this unforgettable event on Saturday June 6. Along with the heavy metal band, Grammy-nominated hip hop superstar, Nicki Minaj will be performing on the new Super Stage.
