Torque at UFC 187

UFC returns to action one short week after the UFC Fight Night Faber vs Edgar with a massive card! UFC 187 hosts a double championship night and a main card stacked from top to bottom. The under card also features some fantastic compelling match ups. Fans have had this event circled on their calendars for a long time believing it would be the Jon Jones vs. Anthony “Rumble” Johnson fight. As many people already know Jon Jones is out for disciplinary reasons and Daniel Cormier gets the nod to face Anthony for the vacant Light Heavyweight Title. Torque is happy to be a part of this huge card Saturday night in Las Vegas with two exciting fighters on the card. Middleweight standout and Ultimate Fighter runner up Uriah Hall will be walking out in Torque against Rafael Natal, and #8 ranked Heavyweight Andrei Arlovski wears Torque to face #3 Travis Browne in the main card.

Uriah Halls comes into this fight at 11-4 and three straight impressive wins. Hall TKO’ed Ron Stallings by doctors stoppage when hall split open Stallings brow. Hall also stopped Chris Leben with a rare stoppage between rounds when Leben decided not to come out for one more round. Hall had a shaky start to his UFC career dropping the Ultimate Fighter Finale which many people had him heavily favored in. With stunning knockouts and blazing fast speed Hall has established himself as a rising star in the middleweight division. Saturday hall faces Natal who is coming off two wins himself. Everyone loves watching the heavyweights fight and Saturday two of the best go toe to toe! Andrei Arlovski has been on a tear and rising back to the top of the heavyweight division this past year. With big wins over Brendan Schaub and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva, Arlovski has the chance to make a huge statement against the heavy handed Travis Browne. Arlovski at 23-10 is a strategic striker with speed and accuracy, and he looks to give Browne everything he can handle. Arlovski will be at UFC weigh ins in the Torque Echo Red tee and walking out Saturday in the new Walkout Pride tee.

With a slew of great fights Saturday should be exciting from beginning to end. All of the action starts Friday at 6pm central with official Weigh Ins. Saturday the fights start on Fight pass at 6:30PM/3:30PM ETPT, and Fox Sports 1 prelims at 8PM/5PM ETPT. Main card is scheduled for 10PM/7PM ETPT.
