The card you have been waiting for, UFC 182!

UFC 182 has been on fight fans calendars for so long it almost felt like this weekend would never arrive. The card has changed, the hype has been built, and the fans all wait anxiously to see who will walk out of the cage with the Light Heavyweight belt. The bad blood is boiling, and there will be no shortage of talent from the very first fight to the end of the night. While most fans will be glued to see the drama unfold of the Jon Jones Daniel Cormier soap opera there are still plenty of reasons to tune in early and catch what could be a wild night of fights!

Early fight card schedules had the Ronda Rousey, Cat Zingano fight lined up for this weekend, but was re-scheduled in October. The always exciting Cowboy Cerrone returns this weekend against a quiet threat that should not be taken lightly in Myles Jury. Myles “the Fury” is unbeaten in his last 6 fights including some tough competition from Diego Sanchez, Mike Ricci, and Ramsey Nijem. A cowboy win here could certainly mean a title shot with Anthony Pettis. Danny Castillo returns to action after a disappointing loss at home in Sacramento. “Last Call” faces Paul Felder who comes in with a 9-0 record and something to prove in his second UFC fight.

Warming up the crowd before the main card starts is Team Alpha Male’s Cody Garbrandt. Fans of the ultra-talented fight camp are very familiar with Cody despite this being his first fight in the UFC. Cody came up the ranks and has a flawless 5-0 record with impressive finishes and electrifying speed. Cody has been working towards his goal of being signed by the premier promotion. Cody “Nolove” gets his first test against Marcus Brimage who sits at 7-3. Cody has heavy hands and has relied on his KO power but with training at Team Alpha Male he is no stranger to doing work on the mats and going in for a slick submission. Cody will be walking out the weekend in Torque wearing the new Victory tee.
