UFC Fight Night Brazil – Torque Sports & Performance

UFC Fight Night Brazil

UFC Fight Night Brazil takes place this Saturday evening and three Team torque fighters will be in action this weekend. UFC Fight Night goes down for the first time ever in the capital Brasilia, Barzil. The fight is exclusively on UFC Fight Pass and headlines a heavy weight bout between #4 ranked Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva against #14 Andrei “the Pitbull” Arlovsky.B efore the main event Torque Fighters Johnny Bedford, Sean Spencer, and Jesica Adrade go to work repping Torque.

Johnny Bedford could not have had a more frustrating string of fights in 2014, however this Saturday an opportunity for redemption presents itself and Johnny is ready. The last meeting between Bedford and Rani Yahya ended in a controversial headbutt finish. At UFC Fight Night 39 in Dubai Bedford followed up an accidental headbutt with a flurry of punches that ended in stoppage of the fight. Johnny celebrating was caught off guard when the fight ended in a no Contest. A rematch was set but Yahya was forced out with an injury and Cody Gibson stepped in to take the fight. Bedford lost in another odd finish where Bedford was knocked down and possibly out but came to and defended quickly despite a possible early stoppage. Bedford looks to turn his luck around and get a solid finish this weekend at UFC Fight Night Brazil.

Sean Spencer has quickly made a name for himself in the UFC with exciting fights and amazing stand up game. Sean put together a string of two great wins in the UFC before facing a tough Alex Garcia at UFC 171 Dallas. In front of his hometown Sean had an amazing back and forth battle against Garcia. Sean was sharp on his feet with excellent striking and kicks, but the difference was Garcia’s takedowns and Sean took his first UFC loss by split decision. This weekend Sean looks to get back into the win column against another tough opponent in Paulo Thiago.

Jessica Andrade rounds out the night for Torque Fighters. The #10 ranked Andrade faces Larissa Pacheco. Pacheco comes in with some impressive finishes in her 10-0 start, but this will be her first match in the UFC and against a scrappy veteran in Andrade. Jessica drew a tough start to her UFC career against fellow Team Torque fighter Liz Carmouche. Andrade has put together two wins since her start and looks to give Pacheco her first professional loss.

All the action starts Saturday 5:45PM/2:45PM ETPT on Fight Pass.
